There was a fatal car crash in the Bronx that resulted in three fatalities, including the driver, Eduardo Nunez who was 33 years old, along with passengers, Jose Henriquez, 22 years, and a pregnant 16 year old girl by the name of Daniela Abreu.
The car crash occurred at 12:15 am on the Bronx Expressway as Nunez was speeding down the expressway and dangerously switching lanes when his vehicle suddenly crashed. Nunez lost control of the 2012 Chrysler 300 that he was driving, slamming into a wall and striking a concrete pillar at a very high speed before the car finally came to a screeching halt.
Police were unsure what exactly caused the vehicle accident. Of the five passengers in the Chrysler 300, only two survived. One passenger, Raymond Batista, 21 years of age is currently fighting for his life, and Able Garcia, 18 years of age, the other surviving passenger, suffered critical injuries but is in stable condition.
